Just like iTunes and the App store, iBooks giving users a search window in which they can type virtually any phrase. User can search for an author, title, or series. Just touch the search window and the on-screen keyboard pops up. Type in an author, title, series, or genre of book. It then will make a search intelligently.

To search for lots of free books, do a search with the keyword “Gutenberg Project” to see thousands of free public domain titles of ebook. You will see suggestions pop up that match your search; just touch the appropriate suggestion to go to that title. Then you'll found thousands of free ebook that can be downloaded.

As you know Gutenberg Project is the place where people can download over 33,000 free ebooks to read on PC, iPad, Kindle, Sony Reader, iPhone, Android or other portable device. They carry high quality free ebooks. Their free ebooks were previously published by Bona Fide publishers and digitized by the Gutenberg Project with the help of thousands of volunteers.

All of the free ebooks can be freely downloaded. Everybody can choose between ePub, Kindle, HTML and simple text formats. No fee or registration is required, but if you find Gutenberg Project is useful, to donate a small amount is a good thing. The funds will be used to buy and digitize more books.
