FBReaderJ: Free eBook Reader for Android

FBReaderJ is an free application as an e-book reader for the Android platform. This freeware application was partially written as a student project at Academy of Modern Software Engineering (AMSE). The project was done by Olga Melanich, Marina Sokol, Eugene Vlasov and Grigory Yaroslavtsev, AMSE students.

The freeware application FBReaderJ is a clone of the FBReader book reader (free desktop application) written in Java. The FBReader for desktop currently works on platform:
* Linux desktop,
* Windows XP/Vista computer,
* FreeBSD computer,
* Various linux-based mobile devices:

Currently, FBReaderJ has it 1.0.7 version. FBReaderJ free application supports several e-book formats like oeb, epub, fb2. In future releases the list will be extended to support the same formats as the original FBReader freeware. Direct reading from zip, tar and gzip archives is supported.

As a free application, FBReaderJ is distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL. It also support plug-in.
